Light Distillates
Light distillates are the term used to describe refined oil products which are produced following
fractional distillation at the top of the distillation tower, above the middle distillates (kerosene, jet
fuel, diesel) and heavier products (heavy fuel oil (FO), asphalt, bitumen, lubricating oils and waxes).
01. LPG (Light Petroleum Gas)

02. Gasoline
Gasoline is a fuel made from crude oil and other petroleum liquids. Gasoline is mainly used as an
engine fuel in vehicles. Petroleum refineries and blending facilities produce motor gasoline for sale
at retail gasoline fueling stations
03. Naphtha
Naphtha is a flammable liquid made from distilling petroleum. It looks like gasoline. Naphtha is used
to dilute heavy oil to help move it through pipelines, to make high-octane gas, to make lighter fluid,
and even to clean metal
